Since its establishment 75 year ago, the Alumni of University of Peradeniya have contributed immensely to the world of knowledge in various fields within our shores and spanning globally. Particularly, PEFAA members, the Engineering Graduates from Peradeniya have held many key posts in Sri Lanka and overseas. Among them are senior professors, academics, administrators, chairpersons, directors, scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, businessmen, bankers, heads of professional bodies and many practical engineers. It is a known tradition that “Pera” graduates show a candid bonding among themselves wherever they meet; perhaps the memories of Peradeniya environs bring such closeness, and familiarity. It is also elating to note that the University of Peradeniya has been ranked at the highest position among all Sri Lankan Universities by the “TIMES Higher Education World University Rankings 2020” and “QS World University Rankings 2020” etc.

Thus, in order to carry forward the excellent status the University enjoys, and as a tribute to our great place of learning, the PEFAA main body and Colombo Chapter wish to invite our membership to make reference to our University whenever possible along with your names, qualifications, and whenever the name of the University is mentioned. The move will undoubtedly help our members bond further, while also extending to identify all Alumni of Peradeniya in various other disciplines and fields. In doing so, please make sure to refer to the University mentioning www.pdn.ac.lk along with your degree qualification in your profile.
